Tribal leaders should decide how AI serves their communities and how their data is used. Those decisions belong in vendor agreements, departmental agents and the support employees receive after launch.
At TribalNet, September 20–24 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Synozur will share procurement guidance, participate in hands-on agent building and meet with leaders and practitioners throughout the week.
Start with the purchasing decision
On Monday, September 21, from 9:45–10:45 a.m. CDT, I’ll join Brent Nelson and Alex Nicklas for “AI Purchasing and Licensing - what to consider in agreements and operations.”
We’ll cover data ownership, model-training rights, liability and changing cost structures. Our goal is to help procurement teams clarify their requirements and understand what they are agreeing to before signing.
Give teams a way to build
On Thursday, September 24, from 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. CDT, Synozur will participate in Microsoft’s “From Copilot Users to Copilot Builders” MakeAThon.
The program combines six virtual preparation sessions with a four-hour workshop. Small groups, each working with a Microsoft expert, will build agents for common manual processes in tribal departments or agencies. Participants will have access to the agents created and develop skills they can use to keep building.
The program aims to help teams put agents into production within 30 days, subject to each organization’s review and governance requirements. That timeline is not guaranteed.
Adoption also needs attention. Employees need to understand the task, know which data they may use and have someone to turn to when they get stuck. Protected practice time and peer support should be part of the adoption plan.
