Updated: 3 days ago

Breaking News from Microsoft and Synozur at the M365 Conference

Good morning from Day 3 of the 2025 Microsoft 365 Community Conference.  We are thrilled to be engaged with Microsoft and the community here in Las Vegas.

Here’s a rundown of key announcements and activities from Synozur and Microsoft today.

News From Microsoft

A million is big but you know what’s really big? A billion. On Tuesday, May 6, Microsoft President Jeff Teper announced that SharePoint had reached over 1 billion users.

We’re happy to help contributing to this achievement.

Yesterday, Microsoft published their spring update for SharePoint, highlighting the integration of AI to enhance collaboration, automation, and communication. Key features include the general availability of AI-powered user experiences for site creators, improvements to Copilot in OneDrive, and new tools for managing workflows and Autofill metadata. Enhancements to Agreement Management and eSignature aim to accelerate approvals.

New communication tools like the FAQ web part and flexible sections for web pages have reached general availability. Additionally, Microsoft has new features for the Amplify communications system, SharePoint Embedded, M365 Backup and M365 Archive. You can learn more in Adam Harmetz’s blog post.

News From Synozur

This week Synozur unveiled our new services for strategic transformation and Microsoft partner development, new team members and our new website. Let’s take a look.

Microsoft Strategy Services

We’re proud to introduce our new managed service to help organizations develop their business foundations, long-term strategy, and annual plans. Planning technology solutions is difficult without clear business priorities and plans.  It’s helpful to have a neutral third-party advisor develop your business-aligned technology roadmaps.

Microsoft’s announcements and EBC briefings can be dazzling, but it’s hard to know where or how to start. Synozur can help you establish a strong leadership culture and strategic consensus, preparing you to adapt and navigate the accelerating currents of technology change.

GTM Services for Partners

Synozur is also launching a suite of services to help SI and ISV partners enter and sustain success across the Microsoft ecosystem.

Our team, with years of experience running partner programs at Microsoft and being deeply embedded as executives of Microsoft channel partners, Regional Directors (RDs), and Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs), drives Microsoft partner development and engagement. Our capabilities include partner strategy & channel coaching; strategic relationships & network building; GTM strategy; offer development; and product & marketing transformation.

Many of our colleagues across the industry have been proud members of the Microsoft Content AI Partner Program (CAPP) since 2017. Microsoft has recognized the need to evolve this program to bring more focus to AI and content management. Plans are underway with Microsoft to transform CAPP into a new program supported by Microsoft, led by partners, and focused on value for our customers. We’ll have more details to share by July 2025.
